Humanitarian + technology
Translate operational requirements into information systems grounded in how teams and programs work.
About / A practice built from the field
I am an Information Management and MEAL professional working where humanitarian operations, data and technology meet.
Across more than six years in humanitarian and development contexts, I have worked with the information that programs collect, the systems that hold it and the decisions it can support.
My career began with data entry and monitoring and evaluation. It gradually moved toward data management, information management, reporting systems and business intelligence. Work across humanitarian organizations and sectors has given me a practical view of how programs generate and use information—not just how a spreadsheet is arranged.
I am particularly interested in transforming fragmented operational information into reliable systems people can actually use. That means thinking about the full lifecycle: collection, validation, cleaning, storage, analysis, visualization, reporting and decision-making.
Today, I lead information management work in Syria while expanding my practice in software development, automation, SQL, Python and digital products. I want to bring operational understanding and technical craft together to build useful, maintainable systems.
Practical systems. Clear information. Better-informed work.
